  • Structural complexity: It has irregular structures such as protruding interfaces, mounting holes, and sealing surfaces. During die casting, the mold requires a complex parting surface design, and insufficient aluminum melt filling (e.g., material shortage at thin interfaces) must be avoided.

  • Dimensional accuracy requirements: The thread of the central interface and the positional accuracy of the mounting holes affect the sealing performance of subsequent assembly. CNC secondary machining is usually required after die casting for calibration, which increases process difficulty.

  • Surface quality control: The red coating of fire protection equipment has high requirements for surface flatness. Defects such as air holes and shrinkage cavities must be avoided during die casting. Subsequent grinding/sandblasting treatment is also needed; otherwise, the coating adhesion will be affected.

  • Material formability: If cast aluminum is used, its fluidity is worse than that of pure aluminum. The combination of a large-size shell and thin-wall structure is prone to problems like cold shuts (poor bonding when the aluminum melt solidifies), which requires strict control of die casting parameters (temperature, pressure).
